ASERL secures a limited number of product discount for its members based on expressions of interest and need from our members.  Our current discount offers are:

    • AM (Adam Matthew Digital):  AM Primary, AM Archives Direct, AM Scholar, and AM Research Skills — ASERL members receive increased discounts on front-list AM content products.  If the group purchasing reaches $7.3M by December 2025, all participating libraries will be awarded 45 AM content products at no additional cost.

    • Gale Primary Sources — Gale is offering additional discounts to ASERL libraries on numerous GPS products, through June 2025. See this flyer for details. Please contact your Gale sales rep for more information and institution-specific pricing.

    • Exact Editions has offered a discounted annual subscription rate on their title list for ASERL libraries, with a discount increase when subscribing to 5 or more titles.  
      Exact Editions is a UK-based publisher that “turns publications into dynamic, user-friendly digital editions. For almost 20 years, Exact Editions has specialized in creating fully-searchable digital magazine archives, selling subscriptions to consumers and libraries, and providing digital publishing solutions across web, iOS and Android platforms.” Their list is a mix of trade and scholarly titles with some emphasis in humanities. The offer includes:

      • 5% discount when a university buys 3 new titles in a single purchase.
      • 7.5% discount when a university buys 5 new titles in a single purchase.
      • The offer does not cover perpetual access and cannot be applied retroactively.
      • This offer is valid from 11/1/2024 to 12/31/2025.
    • Article Galaxy Scholar from Reprints Desk. A discounted, tiered pricing model is available to ASERL members, based on the number of potential users for the AGS platform as selected by the library. ASERL members also receive discounts of $0.50-$1.00 on the Service Fee for documents delivered using AGS. Please contact Tony Landolt for pricing details and information.     • Directory of Open Access Journals: ASERL members can receive a 30% discount on their DOAJ Support Fees. (Fees quoted below include the ASERL discount.)

    • Reprints Desk: For documents found within the A-Z Academic Document Delivery Collection, ASERL members will be offered a discounted Service Fee of $4.50 for each document delivered, plus copyright royalty or purchase cost and applicable sales tax. For documents NOT found within the A-Z Academic Document Delivery Collection, ASERL members will be offered a discounted Service Fee of $14.00 for each document delivered, plus copyright royalty or purchase cost, and sales tax, if applicable.
