This event is an excellent, no-cost online learning opportunity for anyone interested in the many issues around textbook affordability and the use of Open Education Resources (OER).  The FLVC OER Summit was first held in 2018 as an opportunity for librarians, teaching faculty, instructional designers, administrators, students, and other stakeholders to discuss issues, experiences, and solutions on this topic. The Summit has grown and evolved in each iteration since then. The 2023 Summit had more than 530 registered attendees, and we hope that this year’s Summit, the sixth in the series, will be even larger.
