Summary:  This workshop will introduce participants to the SACO African American Funnel Project, an initiative in collaboration with the Library of Congress that creates and updates subject headings related to African American culture and history. Attendees will learn about the project’s organization, the process for proposing new or amended Library of Congress Subject Headings, and the current work being undertaken by the Funnel. The session will also highlight opportunities for involvement, providing attendees with a pathway to contribute to this impactful initiative.
