ASERL Members’ Input Needed for New BBQ Guide

Attention, ASERL foodies and BBQ aficionados!  ASERL launched our first online Guide to Southern Barbecue in 2013.  A lot has changed since then, so we are starting afresh —
and we need your input to make this work!

Anyone working in an ASERL library is encouraged to submit a recommendation of their favorite barbecue place that is reasonably close to their campus — within 30 minutes’ drive, more or less — including some details about what makes the spot your personal favorite.  Time to think (and write) (and eat) creatively!

THE BASICS

  1. Please complete the online form to share information about your favorite barbecue place that is reasonably close to your university campus.  ASERL members only, please.
  2. To avoid spam-bot submissions and inappropriate content, we will review each submission and follow-up with each submitter should we have questions.
  3. Please use your *.edu email address so we can verify that you are a member of the ASERL community.
  4. We will compile initial submissions through June 30, 2025.  We plan to launch the new site to the public on/about July 1, 2025.
