ASERL co-hosts Data Privacy workshops

ASERL is partnering with nationally-recognized LIAS researcher Lisa Hinchliffe to offer two no-cost workshops about data privacy and learning analytics.   After the workshop,  participants will be able to analyze learning analytics and the ways in which they may create privacy harms; adjust a learning analytics practice to strategically minimize privacy harms and maximize specific benefits; and advocate for privacy protections in learning analytics policies and practices.  The workshops are an offering of Prioritizing Privacy, which is supported by an IMLS National Leadership Grant (https://prioritizingprivacy.org/).
