On January 25, 2023, Debbie Storrs, Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC Greensboro) announced Mike Crumpton had accepted the position as Dean of the University Libraries effective immediately. Mr. Crumpton had served as Interim Dean since February 2020. Mike is a longtime contributor to ASERL, currently serving as a member of ASERL’s Membership Task Force, among other roles.
