Live from the National Archives headquarters in Washington, DC!
On April 4, 2022, ASERL has the honor of hosting a web-conversation with a select group of national leaders from our country’s most important cultural heritage organizations to learn about activities their organizations are undertaking / have in planning that reflect a more inclusive view of our nation’s heritage and provide additional context for our national history.

Our panelists will be:

  • Dr. Carla Hayden, Librarian of Congress
  • David Ferriero, Archivist Of The United States, National Archives and Records Administration
  • Tom Medema, Associate Director for Interpretation, Education, & Volunteers, National Park Service
  • Elaina Norlin, ASERL’s Coordinator of Professional Development and DEI Programming, will moderate the session

This will also be an opportunity to thank and celebrate the accomplishments of David Ferriero before he retires from government service in late April 2022 after 12 years in the AOTUS role.

NOTES:

  • As with all ASERL webinars, this session is available to ASERL members and others at no cost.
