Portico

Portico provides a long-term, trustworthy home for “at-risk assets” to libraries who are willing to support the service via an annual fee.  The program is sponsored by JSTOR, Ithaka, The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the Library of Congress.

Portico ingests/archives e-journal content from a growing body of scholarly publishers. For a complete list of publishers who archive via Portico, see www.portico.org

ASERL members receive a 5% discount on the annual Portico fee.  Portico is also offering an additional 10% off those fees for five years for any ASERL library that joins in 2007.
